EL Shama Consulting Inc. proudly presents its Therapeutic Group Care Program, a 20-bed, 24-hour residence located in Edmonton, Alberta, serving youth aged 13 to 18 with 0 to medium behavioral risk. Our home offers a safe, structured, and nurturing environment designed to promote emotional healing, personal development, and long-term success.

 

Grounded in trauma-informed care, our program integrates clinical support, education, life skills development, community engagement, and culturally responsive mentorship. Youth are supported through personalized plans that address their mental, emotional, educational, and social needs empowering them to become resilient, confident individuals prepared for life beyond care.

A key pillar of our therapeutic model is culturally responsive youth empowerment and mentorship. Upon admission, all youth regardless of ethnicity or background—are introduced to this core programming.

 

We believe in the power of belonging and identity as foundational to healing and growth.

Programming includes individual and group mental health coaching, access to educational supports, and life skills training, alongside opportunities for creative expression, sports, wellness activities, and culturally enriching experiences. Our holistic approach is strengthened by incorporating traditional practices, wellness routines, and meaningful engagement with community and culture.
