Welcome to our Youth Housing Support Program, where we aim to assist young individuals in their transition to independent living.

Our program is specifically tailored for those who are unable to remain at home or are relocating from another province, providing a secure and supportive living environment.

We offer comprehensive services, including safe housing, informative workshops focused on essential independent living skills, personalized wellness coaching, and access to qualified youth worker services. Additionally, at a cost we provide transportation to appointments as needed, ensuring that our participants receive the necessary support throughout their journey to independence.

At EL Shama Cares, we proudly reimagine therapeutic group care through a family-centered approach that emphasizes healing, growth, and empowerment for children, youth, and families. Our solution-focused programs are designed for children and youth, ages 13 to 18. We offer both short-term and long-term care options that are tailored to meet the unique needs of each individual.

When youth join our programs, we focus on identifying at-risk behaviors and working collaboratively with them to create positive change. Success in our programs is measured by a meaningful reduction in at-risk behaviors and the development or enhancement of positive social skills. Through our compassionate, goal-oriented approach, we foster an environment where youth can build resilience, strengthen relationships, and ultimately thrive in their communities. Whether you're a caregiver temporarily unable to care for your child or youth, facing a placement breakdown, or in urgent need of a safe and stable environment for your ward, we are here to help. Our services are designed to offer short-term relief, ensuring the well-being and safety of your child or youth during difficult moments.

These placements are not long-term solutions but are aimed at preventing severe emotional disruption and providing a calm, nurturing space until you are able to resume caregiving or a more permanent solution is found. With a focus on stability and comfort, our team ensures that every child or youth receives the care and attention they need during this critical time. We offer a flexible, a la carte approach, allowing organizations to refer youth to any or all of our six tailored workshops. Our sessions are delivered both one-on-one and in group settings, ensuring personalized support and collaborative learning.
